Do I really have to pay tax on OnlyFans income?

Yes. Income from OnlyFans, Fansly, cam sites, clip stores and tips is generally taxable business income, even if the platform is based outside your country and even if you never received a tax slip. The good news: as a business, you can also deduct legitimate expenses.

Will my real name or content be exposed?

No. We communicate under whatever name you prefer, store documents in an encrypted portal, and never share client information. Tax authorities require your legal name on filings, but where possible we help you operate through a business name for added privacy.

I haven't filed in a few years. Am I in trouble?

It's more common than you think, and it's fixable. We rebuild your income from platform statements, claim the expenses you're entitled to, and help you get compliant — often through voluntary disclosure programs that can reduce penalties.

Should I incorporate?

It depends on your income level, how much you need to live on, and where you're based. Once creators are consistently earning well above their personal spending, incorporation often saves tax. We'll model the numbers for you before you decide. More on incorporation →

Do I need to charge GST/HST or sales tax?

In Canada, you generally must register once your worldwide taxable supplies exceed $30,000 over four consecutive quarters — but how it applies to foreign platform income is nuanced. We'll assess your situation and register or file only when it's required.

What expenses can I write off?

Common examples include filming equipment, lighting, wardrobe and makeup used for content, props, editing software, a portion of your phone, internet and home-studio space, and agency or chatter fees. Expenses must be reasonable and connected to earning your income. See our deduction strategy service →

Do you work with creators outside Canada?

Yes. We work with creators in Canada, the United States and overseas, including cross-border situations like US 1099 reporting and foreign platform payouts. More on cross-border tax →
